Why Dry?
Let's start with what even is a dry venue? A dry venue refers to a location or establishment where the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages are prohibited. In a dry venue, alcohol is not served or allowed on the premises, ensuring that events and activities held there remain alcohol-free.

Hosting your event at a dry venue offers several benefits. Firstly, it promotes a family-friendly and inclusive atmosphere, ensuring that attendees of all ages feel comfortable and welcome. It eliminates concerns related to alcohol-related incidents or excessive drinking, creating a safer environment for guests. Additionally, opting for a dry venue can often be more cost-effective, as it eliminates the need for the expenses associated with providing alcoholic beverages.

In 2022, three residents staying on our property who were in recovery from alcoholism and substance abuse inspired a transformative shift in our perspective. We decided to align ourselves with their goals by embracing an alcohol-free lifestyle. This decision completely changed our outlook as we realized that we didn't need alcohol to have a fulfilling and enjoyable experience. Since then, we have embraced this new way of living, and it has had a profound and positive impact not only on us but also on the individuals who reside on and visit on our property.

Tragically, we lost one of our dear friends to substance at the end of 2022. Their memory continues to inspire us to maintain our commitment to a dry venue. We strive to showcase the immense benefits of an alcohol-free lifestyle through our events, emphasizing improved health, stronger relationships, and overall well-being. By cultivating an environment where alcohol is absent, we create a nurturing and inclusive space that fosters personal growth and wellness for all who join us.

Mount Ida
Nestled at the base of Mount Ida, our farm holds a truly remarkable attribute. This mountain, steeped in local lore, is revered by the community for its sacred energy and spiritual significance. Once regarded as a sacred place by the Native American tribes, it is believed that warriors would seek guidance from their spirit guides on this revered peak, particularly before embarking on significant hunts. We are honored to be situated in such a special location, carrying on the legacy of reverence and connection to the land.
